On October 5, 2013, several employees and family members, from our Monroe, NC facility, participated in the 2013 Komen Race for the Cure. Participants started the 5K race at Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte and finished on Martin Luther King Blvd. The Charlotte event celebrated their 16th year of support and was hosted by “Komen Charlotte,” a non-profit organization focused on raising breast cancer awareness in the local communities. All Decore-ative Specialties’ participants successfully completed the race and dressed in matching company t-shirts.
