Stile and rail measurements

The width of the stiles and rails on the following part groups: Doors, Glass Doors, French Lite Doors, and 5-Piece Drawer Fronts are measured from the back of the door and includes the Inside Edge Detail. On door styles that include applied moldings, the measurement may or may not include the applied molding based on how the molding sits on the frame

Deco-Form & MDF

Stile and Rail width measurements of most Deco-Form and MDF door styles are made from the outside edge of the door, to the outside edge of the outermost router pass. Exceptions to this rule would include when the outside edge of the outmost router pass is not well defined, or very hard to measure, or when the door has a molding applied before pressing.
