When choosing boxes made from 1/2” Prefinished 9-Ply Baltic Birch, we are able to offer two distinct top edge options: Clear Transfer Foil or Matching PVC.
Clear Transfer Foil: This option is standard on all dovetail boxes made from Prefinished 9-Ply Baltic Birch, allowing each layer of the material to be seen from the top.
Matching PVC: This option is standard on all dowelled boxes made from Prefinished 9-Ply Baltic Birch, and will mask the layers from being seen on these boxes. Since this option is mostly used with dowelled boxes which also feature flush sides, the Matching PVC helps to create a flat surface across the top of the entire box.
